This one stands out to me all of the early stuff is incredible! The recorded sound is so great on this Cd, just surprisingly good. I could clearly hear the Hendrix and Floyd influences throughout. I do agree that the Scorpions were more musically interesting before the polished years.
In my mind it's basically been downhill since around !!! As most reviewers have noted this is not your arena era Scorpions. This is their roots. It causes one to wonder what they would have produced had they continued down this darker, heavier sound. Klaus Meine is amazing on this album. The rhythm section is probably better than those who replaced them.
For a roots album, it is amazing tight, and very German. Klaus' english was still extremely accented, which only adds to the darker sound. The 13 minute title track is worth the price. I would love to hear this album remixed and rereleased.
