A mean, terrible math teacher who is just a major bummer to your fourth-grade self, but occasionally she also turns into a formless void with tentacles that wants to drag you into the darkness forever. It has an underling, an octopus-faced illithid, that wants to become a vampire so it can be more powerful. But the only way it can do this is by implanting an illithid egg in a host body, then turning the host into a vampire before the egg hatches. Then he uses a weird machine to transfer his mind into that of the newborn baby illith-vampire, then grows up.
He eventually latches onto the elder brain as a literally vampiric parasite, and the whole situation is just really gross. Creepy dolls are a classic horror standby.
I had a roommate once who collected dolls and I literally never watched tv in the living room the entire year I lived year because there were shelves of those damn dolls staring at you. I don't know about you, but I think Mr. Because he's human. It centers around a computer game called The Theater , which was allegedly released around the same time that Doom hit shelves , the story specifies.
But even allowing for the terrible graphics of the era, there was still something just sort of… off about the game.
Here's what I mean: It rarely installed properly, and even when you did manage to get it running, it was enormously buggy.
After you'd done this enough times, though, some strange things began to happen: First the Ticket-Taker disappeared; then he reappeared later on with a heavily distorted head. Clicking on the wall closed out the game, and that was kind of that.
Except not really. The Theater is apparently only available as a bootleg these days, with all the original copies having been destroyed. But those who do manage to get their hands on a copy? Well, let's just say the Ticket-Taker doesn't always leave them alone — even after they've shut down their computer. Originally created on 4chan, The Rake doesn't really have a story attached to him, per se; he does, however, have a pretty whacked-out MO.
He's some sort of creature, vaguely man-shaped, and he tends to hunker down at the foot of your bed and stare at you out of hollow eyes in the middle of the night. But that's not all he does; sometimes he attacks. If he doesn't want you there, he will find some way to take everything you hold dear — ruining your life in the process.
Over time, he's gradually gotten folded into the Slender Man mythos, although I think he's plenty weird all on his own. The monsters got their name from the smell that people say came from it. It was in the s and s that some people saw this ape. However, scientists do not believe in its existence, and think what people saw back then was just a bear. Thunderbird is a huge bird-like creature that people saw from until These creatures are believed to be a part of North American folklore and remind of prehistoric pterodactyls.
In the 20th and 21st centuries, many people from Texas, Missouri, Alaska, and Illinois supposedly saw these giant birds. Yeti is popularly known as Abominable Snowman and is said to be residing in the Himalayan Mountains. It is a part of the mythology of the indigenous population of Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal. The British, in , held an expedition in Mount Everest and it is then that they saw the footprints of some creature that they thought must be a big wolf, but once they looked at them more carefully it looked like footprints of some huge human.
