He has Frankie take part in promotions that are increasingly offensive and insensitive to deaf people, of which Penelope disapproves.

Max convinces Frankie to play live at Pacha as a career comeback, despite Frankie's insistence that he has nothing to prove to his critics. The gig goes exceedingly well, and many claim it shows even greater talent than his early work. After the show, Frankie and Penelope disappear from Max and the music scene altogether. In a talking heads sequence, characters speculate on where he is now, if alive. As the film ends, we see Frankie disguised as a homeless street musician, who is met by Penelope and a child, presumably their own.

They affectionately walk together down a street unrecognised. Additionally, we see Frankie teaching a group of deaf children how to perceive sound like he does.

Several real world DJs appear in the film, lending the film a sense of authenticity, [2] like Carl Cox , Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong himself, who also executive produced the film. The film's soundtrack was released by EMI on 4 October as a double disc soundtrack for the film. Additional production and mixing was by James Doman.

  4. Sep 18,  · Despite the titel with "Ibiza" in it, what scares the most people to buy this cd I may say this is the beginning of one of the best downtempo "lounge" series ever. Every track is sundrenched with smooth deep grooves that you won't find on any other compilation/5(31).

  7. Aug 14,  · As with the latest issue V.9, this is poor when measured against the earlier REACT double CD's in the excellent Real Ibiza series. The thread has clearly been lost and a poorly composed, produced and compiled end product is the result. It's either back to the drawing board or bring the project to a merciful end I'm afraid/5(4).
  8. Real Ibiza 2 ranks up there with the best relazing, cruisy, funky, acidic music that there is. Perfect for the morning after or lazing by the pool or just lounging around. Highly recomended, in particular track 8 on Disc 2 is simply the standout track on a truly brilliant CD that will relax even the most tense of us/5(6).
  9. Following on from the return to the frey Real Ibiza returns to the white isle for the edition of the benchmark Balearic compilation "Real Ibiza Volume 9". First launched in Real Ibiza was one of the first wave of Ibiza / Balearic inspired compilations. A cornerstone of .
